    Product Overview

Fiberglass tubing is a composite tube built from glass-fiber reinforcements and thermoset resins, engineered to replace corrodible metals in harsh environments. Manufactured by pultrusion or filament winding, it delivers consistent wall thickness, tight tolerances and clean finishes.

The product resists 200+ chemicals per ISO/TR 10358 and is rated 10 bar working pressure at 25 °C, with high-pressure models to 25 bar and custom designs to 40 bar on request. UV-stabilized resin exceeds 5,000 h QUV weathering, every stick is 100% hydro-tested to zero-leak acceptance, and the standard shipping length is 10 meters.

Temperature rating: the product series (DN25/DN50/DN100) is rated 93.3 °C continuous service, while banner documentation states 150 °C — both values are recorded from source as-is. Confirm the applicable rating for your service with our engineers (Confirm by model).

    Why Choose GRE Pipes?

    Customer Challenges
    Customer Benefits
    Product Range / Structure
    Key Features & Benefits
    • Steel tubing corrodes in chemical, marine and mining service — galvanic corrosion and MIC included
    • Conductive metal lines create hazards around energized equipment
    • Heavy pipe raises transport and installation cost on remote sites
    • Frequent replacement of acid-service lines drives maintenance spend

CNPS Solution: Pultruded or filament-wound fiberglass tubing with fire-retardant and UV-stabilized resin options — dielectric, 4× lighter than schedule-40 steel, and threaded to metal systems via stainless-steel or GRP stub-ends.

    • Resists 200+ chemicals per ISO/TR 10358
    • Up to 70% lighter than steel (4× lighter than schedule-40 per banner)
    • Non-conductive / dielectric — safer around energized equipment
    • Pressure ratings from 10 bar (standard) to 25 bar (high-pressure) and 40 bar (custom)
    • 100% hydro-tested with zero-leak acceptance
    • Expected service life exceeds 25 years in neutral or acidic media (10,000-h accelerated aging)
    • Threads directly to metal systems with SS/GRP stub-ends and ANSI/DIN backing rings
    • Sizes: DN25 (sampling / small-bore), DN50 (cooling / fire-main), DN100 (wastewater mains)
    • Standard length: 10-meter sticks
    • Working pressure: 10 bar at 25 °C standard; 25 bar high-pressure; custom to 40 bar on request
    • Options: fire-retardant resins, UV stabilization, color coding
    • Connections: threaded to metal systems via stainless-steel or GRP stub-ends with ANSI and DIN backing rings
    • Broad chemical resistance — Resists 200+ chemicals per ISO/TR 10358, including 98% sulfuric acid, hydrochloric and caustic media.
    • Lightweight strength — 4× lighter than schedule-40 steel pipe (up to 70% lighter than steel per datasheet) with high tensile strength.
    • Dielectric safety — Non-conductive nature improves safety around energized equipment and reduces stray-current risk.
    • Rated pressure options — Standard 10 bar at 25 °C; high-pressure models to 25 bar; custom designs to 40 bar on request.
    • Proven weather resistance — UV-stabilized resin exceeds 5,000 h QUV weathering.
    • Zero-leak quality — 100% hydro-tested with zero-leak acceptance on every stick.
    • Metal-system integration — Threaded to metal systems: stainless-steel or GRP stub-ends with ANSI and DIN backing rings.
    • Long service life — Expected to exceed 25 years in neutral or acidic media, verified through 10,000-h accelerated aging and field installations since 1998.

    Technical Specifications

    Item Specification
    Diameter / Size Range DN25, DN50, DN100
Pressure Rating 10 bar standard; 25 bar high-pressure; up to 40 bar
    Standard Length 10-meter sticks

    ⚙️Applications

    • Chemical processing — resists 98% sulfuric, hydrochloric and caustic media
    • Offshore rigs — seawater lift, produced water and injection lines without galvanic corrosion or MIC
    • Municipal water — NSF-61 resin prevents taste transfer; meets 2.5 MPa pressure classes
    • Hard-rock mining — non-conductive tube reduces stray-current risk and survives abrasive slurry transport
    • Utilities and infrastructure projects
    • Sampling lines (DN25), cooling-water or fire-main loops (DN50), wastewater mains (DN100)

    🔧Installation / Connection

    • Ships in 10-meter sticks for efficient handling
    • Threaded connections to metal systems: stainless-steel or GRP stub-ends with ANSI and DIN backing rings
    • Light weight (up to 70% less than steel) reduces lifting and support requirements
    • No welding or hot work required at connections
