In 2020, CNPS collaborated with Saudi Aramco on a pilot project in the Middle East to implement 3 1/2 GRE downhole fiberglass tubing for oil and gas wells. This project aimed to solve the persistent issues associated with traditional steel casings, particularly regarding 'stuck pipe' incidents and corrosion.
By leveraging the superior drillability and corrosion resistance of fiberglass, this solution significantly reduced the time and cost associated with drilling through in the event of operational issues. Our GRE downhole tubing provides a robust, lightweight alternative to steel, ensuring long-term well integrity and operational efficiency in the highly corrosive environments typical of Middle Eastern oilfields.
