CNPS Fiberglass Elbows - precision-molded, corrosion-resistant direction changes for chemical, offshore and municipal piping systems.
Product Overview
CNPS fiberglass elbows are high-strength fiberglass elbow fittings made from lightweight, high-strength composite materials that resist corrosive chemicals, seawater and high pressure. They are approximately 60% lighter than steel fittings, are offered in standard 45 and 90 degree angles with customized options available upon request, and provide a design service life exceeding 25 years. The precise molding process minimizes turbulence and pressure loss, enhancing system efficiency while reducing energy consumption and prolonging pump and valve service life. The elbows are compatible with glass fiber and composite pipes.
Why Choose Fiberglass Elbows?
Standard angles of 45 and 90 degrees are offered, with customized angles, sizes and wall thicknesses available upon request. The elbows are compatible with glass fiber and composite pipes, and can connect to metal piping systems using appropriate couplings and adapters. A full range of glass fiber fittings - elbows, tees, reducers and couplings - is available for complete piping systems.
Technical Specifications
| Item | Specification |
| Material | Fiberglass reinforced composite |
| Type / Angle | 45 degrees and 90 degrees |
| Connection Type | Glass fiber and composite pipes; metal systems via appropriate couplings and adapters |
| Service Life | Over 25 years |
🔧Connection / Installation
Fiberglass elbows join glass fiber and composite pipes using the same jointing method as the pipeline (adhesive-bonded socket, bell-and-spigot or flanged connections). When transitioning to metal systems, appropriate couplings and adapters are used. Clean and prepare the joint surfaces, apply the adhesive per CNPS instructions, align the fitting to the required direction, and allow full cure before pressure testing.
⚙️Applications
💎Project Customization
CNPS fiberglass elbows can be customized in angle, size and wall thickness to match the pipeline routing and pressure requirements. Send your pipe diameter, required angle and service media to CNPS so the correct elbow configuration can be confirmed.
